- Your email lives in our database (Supabase, hosted in the United States) and is used only to contact you about Flirting Lab.
- Want out? One message and it's deleted.
- When the app launches, this policy grows to cover accounts, recordings and subscriptions. Section 06 previews exactly how.
01Who we are
Flirting Lab (“we”) operates this website and is building the Flirting Lab app for iPhone, an AI coach that debriefs your interactions. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what you can do about it.

02What we collect today
Right now, Flirting Lab is a website with a waitlist. If you sign up, we store:
- Your email address, the one you typed into the form.
- A source tag, a short label saying the signup came from this landing page.
- A timestamp, when you joined.
That is the entire record. No name, no account, no password, no payment details, no location, no contact list.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs (things like IP addresses and requested pages) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use them to identify you.
03What we don't do
- We set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
- We never sell your email address. To anyone. Ever.
- We don't share it with advertisers or “marketing partners”.
- We don't sign you up for anything beyond news about Flirting Lab.
04Where your email lives
Waitlist emails are stored in a database run by Supabase, our database provider, on servers located in the United States. The website itself is served by Vercel, our hosting provider. Both act as processors for us: they store and serve data, they don't get to use it for their own purposes.
If you're signing up from outside the United States: your email address will be stored and processed on US servers.
05How long, and how to leave
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it, or until the launch communications it was collected for are over. Every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.
To have your email deleted from the waitlist entirely, send a note to contact@flirting-lab.app from the address you signed up with. We'll delete it and confirm, within 30 days at the latest.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union), you may have formal legal rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. We honor access, correction and deletion requests regardless of where you live. You don't need to cite a statute.
06When the app launches
The Flirting Lab app will handle more personal data than this website does. None of the below is in effect yet. It previews how this policy will grow, so you know what you're signing up for. Before the app ships, this section becomes binding and this page will say so.
Your account
You'll sign in with your Apple account. Apple gives us an anonymous identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email, never your password.
Your debriefs
What you tell your coach, by voice or text, is stored so the coach can remember you between sessions. Your debriefs are private to your account. They're never published, shared, or turned into content, and they're used for exactly one thing: coaching you.
Audio & AI processing
Voice recordings are transcribed and analyzed by AI service providers working under contract for us: speech-to-text and AI model providers such as Deepgram, Google, and Anthropic. They process your recordings to run the product, not to advertise to you.
Subscriptions
Purchases go through Apple's App Store. We never see your card number. We receive your subscription status (via RevenueCat, our billing processor) so the app knows what you've unlocked.
Deleting your account
The app will include account deletion. Deleting your account removes your debriefs and personal data from our systems.
07Age
Flirting Lab is for adults. You must be 18 or older to join the waitlist or use the app. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If that happens, tell us and we'll delete it.
08Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects data we already hold about you, like waitlist emails, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
